do not seek advice, a survey commissioned by an industry
lobby group has found. As the quality of financial advice
and planner remuneration come under intense scrutiny from
the regulators and two government-backed reviews, a report
from KPMG and the Investment and Financial Services
Association (IFSA) found that in the 12 months ended June 30,
2008, investors who took advice from a planner saved on
average $2,650 more than those who acted
